Where exactly do I park?

You park right at the guesthouse at Pod Strání 580, just past the edge of town by the river. One practical tip for the journey to us: on arrival, do not be misled by the large car park by the swimming pool, which you only need to drive through. We are a little further on, not on that overflow car park.

Why leave the car parked at the guesthouse?

The advantage of your own parking is not only having somewhere to put the car. It is mainly that you can leave it parked for the whole stay and enjoy Rožnov on foot. Most of the best of it is within walking distance of the guesthouse:

• the open-air museum, the Wallachian Open Air Museum, is a few minutes on foot,
• the town centre and the shops are also just a short walk away,
• the Bečva river and the cycle path start right at the door,
• and you set off on trips into the mountains (Pustevny, Radhošť) rested, because you did not have to go looking for your car in the morning.

That comes in handy when you want to pop off on a trip a bit further afield or bring something back from town. After a demanding day in the mountains you return to the calm by the river, to good coffee and homemade cakes in our café (open daily 11:00 to 20:00), or treat yourselves to a private sauna all to yourselves.
