How to Get to Rožnov pod Radhoštěm and Where to Park
Getting to the Beskydy should be the least of your worries. So we have put together a brief guide on how to reach Rožnov pod Radhoštěm and how to park right at our Anděl penzion without getting lost.
By car: the easiest route
From Prague and Brno, take the D1 towards Ostrava, exit at Hranice and continue on road I/35 towards Valašské Meziříčí and on to Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. The route is well signposted, and the final stretch follows the Bečva valley. From Prague allow roughly 3.5 hours, from Brno just under two.
From Ostrava it is even shorter, on the D48 via Frenštát pod Radhoštěm you will be in Rožnov in under an hour.

One tip from experience: some sat-navs take guests to the car park near the swimming pool, which is right next door. Do not be misled by it, Anděl penzion is a little further on. If you are not sure, give us a call and we will guide you in.
Free parking right at the penzion
With us you do not have to deal with paid parking in town:
- Parking right at Anděl penzion is free.
- Your car is in sight and just steps from your room.
- The Bečva cycle path runs 100 metres from us, so if you arrive by bike, you are perfectly placed.
- Leave your car at the penzion and it is just a few minutes on foot to the Wallachian Open-Air Museum, our accommodation a few minutes from the open-air museum is perfect for exactly that.
By train and bus
It works without a car too. You can reach Rožnov pod Radhoštěm by train and bus (usually with a change in Valašské Meziříčí). From the station or the bus stop it is only a few minutes to us. Connections change with the season, so if you write ahead via the contact page, we will advise the best current option.
Once you arrive
As soon as you have parked, the Beskydy are within reach. You can set off straight away on the Bečva cycle path, to the Wallachian Open-Air Museum or browse our tips for trips in the area. And when you want to unwind along the way, our café and private sauna are waiting for you.
