The same goes for parking right at the property, it is free and part of your stay. We are a family guesthouse with 9 rooms, not a big hotel, so we do not treat breakfast as an anonymous buffet, we make it honestly and fresh every morning.

One thing is worth knowing in advance: we prepare breakfast only for guests staying with us. We do not offer a public breakfast or a walk-in brunch. If you drop by our café though, you can enjoy specialty coffee and homemade cake without staying with us, open daily from 11:00 to 20:00.

What do we serve for breakfast?

We put breakfast together so everyone finds something they like, sweet and savoury alike. On the table you will typically find:

• fresh bread from a small local bakery,
• eggs prepared that morning,
• something sweet and something savoury to choose from,
• homemade bábovka or cake from our pastry chef Marcela,
• and specialty coffee from the QB roastery, the same one we pour in our café.

We mention that coffee on purpose. Plenty of guesthouses fob off morning coffee with a machine, here you get the same specialty coffee as guests in the café. It sounds like a small thing, but you will notice it in the morning. You breakfast at a relaxed pace at the table, not in a rush, so you have time to eat properly before setting off on a trip.

Can you manage a gluten-free, vegan or lactose-free breakfast?

Yes. If you are on a special diet, please let us know in advance when you book and we will tailor your breakfast accordingly. Our pastry chef Marcela bakes gluten-free, lactose-free and vegan, her gluten-free poppy seed cake is especially well known. The sooner we know about your diet, the better we can prepare everything in the morning.

How much is a room with breakfast in Rožnov?

We keep our prices clear and free of surprises. It is always a price per room for two people per night, not per person:

How does check-in and check-out work?

You can check in between 14:00 and 20:00, and check-out is by 10:00. If you know you will arrive later in the evening, just give us a call and we will arrange it. In the morning you can enjoy breakfast at a relaxed pace before setting off on a trip, the open-air museum is a few minutes on foot and you can leave your car at the guesthouse. We are happy to host families, children under 4 without their own bed stay free, and a cosy children’s corner awaits them in the café.

For couples we also offer a private sauna just for your group of 2 to 4 people at 1,000 CZK for 120 minutes. The price includes a carafe of water, two proseccos and bathrobes to borrow, with the last entry at 18:00. It makes a nice way to end a day in the mountains, and breakfast is waiting again the next morning.
