Price and dining
This is where Janoštík has two clear advantages. It is one of the cheaper options in Rožnov and it has its own restaurant right in the building, so you can eat without going out. If your budget is the deciding factor and you want to dine under one roof, it makes sense.
Anděl goes a different way. We have no restaurant, but breakfast is included in the stay and made from local ingredients. On the ground floor you will also find a café with specialty coffee and homemade cakes, including vegan and gluten-free. It is a different kind of setup than a restaurant, but for many guests it is the reason they come back.

Anděl has 9.2/10 on Booking.com and 4.8/5 from 461 Google reviews, plus first place among Rožnov guesthouses on TripAdvisor. Janoštík has 8.4/10 from 554 reviews on Booking.com. Guests praise the staff and single out how helpful they are, but the reviews are a bit more mixed and occasionally mention the bathrooms. The numbers are a guide and change over time (as of 2026).
Quiet and a private sauna
Anděl is on the edge of town by the river, a few minutes on foot from the open-air museum, and it plays mostly on calm. We also have a private sauna just for you, 2-4 people, with a carafe of water, prosecco and bathrobes to borrow. No shared space, just you and the quiet. Janoštík, with its focus on price and a restaurant, does not offer that, and it is not what it is going for.
So which to choose
When price is the main factor and you want a restaurant right in the building, Janoštík is a sensible choice. When you are after a calmer, higher-rated stay with a private sauna, good coffee and breakfast included, our choice is Anděl.
