At the Anděl guesthouse we do not accommodate dogs or any other animals, and we are happy to adapt breakfast whether you eat gluten-free, lactose-free or vegan. Why Anděl is a good choice for allergy sufferers
It is not about special equipment, but about how the guesthouse works:
- We accommodate no animals. We cannot host dogs or other pets. That means you will find no pet hair or dust from animal bedding in the rooms or shared areas, which anyone allergic to animals will appreciate.
- Just 9 rooms. We are not a large hotel with crowds and long corridors. A smaller operation is easier to keep clean and tidy.
- A quiet spot by the river. Anděl sits in a calm part of Rožnov by the river, a few minutes on foot from the open-air museum, not on the main road with dust and exhaust fumes.
We want to be honest: we do not promise a medically certified allergen-free environment. We offer a family guesthouse where no animal is in sight and where we take cleanliness seriously, which for many allergy sufferers makes a real difference.
Gluten-free, lactose-free and vegan breakfast
Allergies and intolerances often involve food, and here we can meet you halfway. Our pastry chef Marcela bakes gluten-free, lactose-free and vegan, and her gluten-free poppy-seed cake is famous. So we will prepare breakfast around what you can and cannot eat.
Just one thing: please let us know in advance when booking so we have time to get everything ready. You can also taste something sweet and savoury in our café.
How much a room costs
We have 9 rooms and the prices are clear:

The room price includes breakfast and free parking at the guesthouse. Only a city tax of 50 CZK per person per night is added. You will see the exact amount for your dates in the booking system.
Calm and clean a few minutes from the open-air museum
Even though there are no animals with us, you will not miss out on the experience. The Wallachian Open-Air Museum is a few minutes on foot and the centre of Rožnov is close too. During the day you head out to the sights or the mountains, and in the evening you return to quiet where no one disturbs you. Anyone who wants to switch off after a hike can book a private sauna for their group only.
