In Rožnov, Anděl guesthouse and Wellness Hotel Eroplán both sit close to the open-air museum, but they offer quite a different stay. Wellness: privacy, or a shared pool
This is where the two places diverge most. Eroplán is built around a shared wellness complex: a pool, several saunas, a steam room, an outdoor pool with whirlpool and massages. If you want a pool close to the museum and do not mind meeting other guests, it makes sense. Some guests do mention time limits on the wellness and slightly dated rooms in their reviews.
Anděl goes the other way. Our sauna is private; you book it just for yourselves, two to four people. Add a carafe of water, prosecco and bathrobes to borrow. No time shared with strangers, just you and the quiet. It is not a pool complex, and it does not try to be.

Here the difference is clear. Anděl has 9.2/10 on Booking.com and 4.8/5 from 461 Google reviews, plus first place among Rožnov guesthouses on TripAdvisor. Eroplán has 8.1/10 from 817 reviews on Booking.com. Both places are rated well, but Anděl scores noticeably higher with guests. The numbers are a guide and change over time.
Food and café
With us, breakfast is part of the stay and made from local ingredients. On the ground floor you will also find a café with specialty coffee and homemade cakes, including vegan and gluten-free. That is something a large wellness hotel will not offer, and for many guests it is the reason they come back.
So which to choose
When the main reason for the trip is a shared pool and wellness by the museum and you travel with family, Eroplán suits you. When you are after a quiet, personal stay with a private sauna and no time limits, a higher guest rating, good coffee and breakfast included, our choice is Anděl.
